Jeff-HarnarMulti-Bistro and MAC Award winner, Jeff Harnar, to host the 29th annual Bistro Awards show!

Jeff Harnar is the winner of the 2012 Noel Coward Foundation Cabaret Award. Recent New York engagements include 54 Below, Birdland, the Laurie Beechman Theatre, and Off Broadway at 59e59 theater. Carnegie Hall appearances include both the Cole Porter and Noel Coward Centennial Galas. Jeff was artistic director and host of the three seasons of “The American Songbook in London” at the Jermyn Street Theatre and Pizza on The Park. Television credits include “The 1959 Broadway Songbook” (PBS). Jeff tours nationally with Shauna Hicks in their symphony “Pops” concert “I Got Rhythm: Mickey & Judy’s Hollywood.” Jeff has released four solo CDs and is the winner of three MAC Awards and three Back Stage Bistro Awards. Sherry Eaker has been the producer of the annual Bistro Awards since the awards’ inception in 1985. She is the former editor of "Back Stage" and, during her 30-year run, produced panel discussions and workshop events on an ongoing basis, including the programming for Back Stage’s annual Actorfest. She compiled and edited four editions of the "Back Stage Handbook for Performing Artists," and compiled and edited "The Cabaret Artists Handbook." She is a member of the National Theatre Conference and the American Theatre Critics Association (and produced eight of ATCA’s New York weekend conferences). She is an advisor to the boards of both the Manhattan Association of Cabarets and the Women in the Arts & Media Coalition.
