Variety of Cabaret Performances

Karen Mack is a multi-award-winning singer/songwriter with creative roots in jazz, folk, pop, and swing. Over the last 20 years, she’s established herself as a favorite in NYC’s top clubs and performance spaces. Her varied musical influences are apparent in her style, which meshes a warm jazz/folk sensibility with an affinity for richly textured vocal harmony, wordplay, and improvisation. LGNY said: “Her flawless placement, appealing style and dead-on performance are electrifying!” She’s an eleven-time MAC Award winner for vocal performance and songwriting, as well as for her current work in NYC’s fierce female vocal quartet Those Girls, and for 12+ years working with singer/songwriter Michael Holland, for which she received a Bistro Award in 2003. Currently, she plays monthly with New York Times–hailed pianist/vocalist Elliot Roth, now in the third year of their jazz/swing residency at Pangea NYC. Her new solo album with producer/arranger Peter Eldridge (Grammy winner, member of international jazz vocal group New York Voices) is slated to drop in spring 2024, and she’ll make her debut upstairs at Birdland on Monday, August 26.  www.karenmack.com
