From Broadway to classics, onstage and in concert, Lisa Vroman has established herself as one of America’s most versatile voices. She starred on Broadway and in San Francisco and Los Angeles as Christine Daaé in The Phantom of the Opera. Other major roles include Rosalinda (Die Fledermaus); both Fantine and Cosette (Les Miserables); Rosabella (The Most Happy Fella – NYC Opera); Marian Paroo (The Music Man); Lilli Vanessi (Kiss Me Kate); Anna Leonowens (The King and I); and Maria Callas (Master Class). For PBS she played Johanna in Sweeney Todd in Concert and Christine Daaé (with Colm Wilkinson) in Hey, Mr. Producer! Symphonic guest appearances include shows in San Francisco, Hong Kong, Philadelphia, and Detroit, and with the Gewandhausorchester Leipzig, as well as with the Boston, Philly, and New York Pops. Lisa sang and danced with Dick Van Dyke to the songs of Mary Poppins in Disney’s 75th anniversary celebration at the Hollywood Bowl. She is an active voice teacher and master clinician and has served as a judge and mentor for the Kurt Weill Foundation’s Lotte Lenya Competition. www.lisavroman.com
